This is our process for newborn photoshoot at home:
I. Find the Best Light:
Start by choosing a room with a big window. Natural light is key to capturing beautiful, soft photos that feel genuine and warm.
II. Clear the Space
II. Clear the Space
Keep the area around the window simple and free of clutter. This helps make sure your baby is the star of the photos, with nothing distracting in the background.
III. Soften the Light.
Hang a thin curtain over the window to gently spread the sunlight across the room. This creates a flattering, even light that's perfect for photography.
IV. Set Up Comfortably.
Place a soft beanbag near the window for your baby to lie on. It’s safe, cozy, and lets us easily move around to get the best shots.
Use plain blankets in natural and white colors for backdrops, keeping the focus on your newborn's beauty. Then, select soft outfits and simple props that enhance the photos while maintaining the natural look.
